What: Grocery Store Rewards Programs
Where: Tom Thumb, Kroger & Albertsons Grocery Stores
How: Add our Assn. ID number to your reward cards - Tom Thumb & Kroger
Use Scan Card at checkout - Albertsons
Cost to you: $0
It’s that easy! Once you have registered our organization on your rewards cards (we’ll even provide the forms for you), all you do is shop for your groceries at any or all of the above stores, scan your rewards card at check out and 1% of your grocery purchase will be credited to Plano East Hockey. The organization will receive a check quarterly and you will still receive all the benefits and discounts associated with your rewards cards.
Please register your rewards cards for each of the above stores, they are separate programs but all work in basically the same way.
How much can the organization earn:
32 families X $100/wk in groceries (yeah, right!)= $3,200
X weeks per year 52
Organization grocery purchases $166,400
X 1%
= $1,664 per year
And that’s just for our families’ groceries! Tell your family, friends and co-workers to do the same. Instead of asking them to buy the dreaded gift wrap or cookie dough, all you are asking them to do is register their rewards cards. It doesn’t cost them anything and the best part is, it’s an ongoing fundraiser – as families graduate and leave the organization, their donations continue. It will continue to grow as we add new families to our organization.
